To close the trip at the end of your ride, you will need to return the e-bike at any of our docking stations. All trips must start and end at the station and the trip isn’t considered closed until the bike is properly docked at a station.
You must ensure that the bike is securely in the dock and the light turns green - if the dock rejects the bike, you should remove it and try a different dock. Users remain responsible for the bike until it is correctly docked and the trip has closed. If you have any issues, please contact Customer Service immediately.
Once your trip is closed, you’ll be sent a notification for the trip including the start/finish date and place. If you don’t receive this notification, this may mean that the trip hasn’t been closed properly or an error has occurred.
You can see if you have any open trips and the history of all your trips in the “My Account” section on the Embark Dundee website or app.
You can also book a dock in advance if you want to ensure there will be a dock available for you to use when you finish a ride.
